Directions For Use:

Use a 1% to 5% solution in water, or as required. Pressure cleaning apparatus, suitable for alkaline solution, may be used. Hot water makes the solution more effective for dealing with congealed fats and similar deposits.

Contact with alkali sensitive metals such as aluminium should be minimised where possible.

Stainless steel is well suited to alkaline cleaning.

Cleaned surfaces should be well rinsed with clean water immediately after treatment.

GCB is a food-safe, non-tainting preparation for cleaning and sanitising in places such as abattoirs, fisheries, bakeries, food preparation and storage areas.
Contains cationic and non-ionic surfactants, quaternary ammonium biocide, sequestering agent, emulsifier and detergent builders.
GCB is also an effective Traffic Film Remover (TFR) and is recommended for cleaning both the interior and exterior of food-carrying vehicles.

Suitable for washing any surface which will stand alkaline cleaning, e.g. walls, floors, tiles, benches, stainless steel, plastics, laminates, etc. Soils removed include fats, proteins, starch, food residues, oils, greases and atmospheric film.
GCB is ideal for cleaning and sanitising grain-carrying and food delivery vehicles, and meets the requirements of the UKASTA Code of Practice.
GCB is a very powerful alkaline cleaning preparation, containing a quaternary ammonium bactericide. It is effective against a wide range of gram positive and gram negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas Aeruginosa (which is generally accepted as being a difficult organism) and E Coli. The bactericide used is also effective against yeasts (e.g. Candida Albicans) and fungi (e.g. Fusarium Soloni).
